What is the Divine Feminine?
Everything is energy, so when I refer to the Divine Feminine I’m speaking about an energy that is personified as “The Divine Feminine.” It is composed of both masculine & feminine energy. It can be confusing to refer to a double energy as just feminine, but I personally believe this is because we all start out as females in our mothers wombs, so it was just named that as way to honor a cosmic concept. I like to think of yin & yang. There is masculine and feminine sides, but each side has the opposite energy within it as well depicted as a dot. Together this makes a circle of completion aka the Divine Feminine.
The Imbalance
We have an imbalance of feminine and masculine energy within us as a whole and we see that reflected in the society we live in. Things of feminine nature appears to be considered less powerful or less needed in our lives. For example, schools that have budget cuts usually get rid of courses they consider extra or elective like music, dance, theatre, ect. which is unfortunate because they help tap into our expressive emotional side. Even things like getting massages or getting your nails done are viewed as something extra or a luxury. Competition has been prioritized over connection but things are shifting in a big way and a cosmic restoration has begun within us all.
Signs of the Times
I really want to stress the fact that this is a change that is occurring internally but if you look around you can see external signs of this great awakening. The pandemic was a big neon sign! We were forced to slow down out of our daily rat race. We started to take care our health through incorporating more vegan and vegetarian lifestyles, we had more time to talk to others about life outside of our careers and work life. Tik Tok blew up and we began to dance and become creative with video clips. There are so many signs showing us that we are being encouraged to embrace feminine activity and energy and rid ourselves of a patriarchal mindset that men and women have subscribed to.
The Restoration
The restoration of feminine energy is not about dominating men because again, the divine feminine energy craves balance which includes masculine energy. We start by restoring the balance by tapping into our heart space. I think the movie Moana depicted what is going on right now well & I wish it was mandatory for everyone to watch it once. Practicing meditation with a crystal like malachite or rose quartz are great for opening, cleansing, and balancing your heart Chakra. As we raise our vibration so does the world around us but it all starts within. I realize we are living in a transitional period which is birthing a new age and like childbirth, it can be painful, but the outcome will be beautiful and worth it.
